The Problem with Glitter

It never occurred to him

That touching her heart

Could leave him blind

And yet here he was

Fumbling through a world

Dark as midnight

Bright as white light

Bumping into jagged corners

Of souls he once knew

Yet none feeling familiar

And where was she?

His distress preventing

Him from locating

The cause of all this mess

She skipped right by

And left a glittered hand print

Right on his chest
